Missions: Go Into All The World - Cuba - Week 2

The World is a pretty big place...and yet Jesus commanded us to go into all the world and preach the Gospel. There are many who have answered that call to fulfill what we call the Great Commission.
We're stepping off on a new message series where we are having conversations with Kingdom friends who are engaging the Great Commission around the world.
In week 2 ...we are talking with Jeff Fernandez, Pastor to Students at the Bridge in Portage, MI. Pastor Jeff led a mission team to Cuba in 2018. He is also a first generation Cuban-American and has some keen insights on how to understand what's going on there and how Christians can pray.

Pastor Tom Roepke joined in a conversation this morning on Heartfelt Radio's Mornings with Mark & Gabe to unpack and talk about a recent blog post from Carey Nieuwhof   The Data Is In: 5 Things That Will Sabotage Your Church's Future Growth.  
Carey's post is based on the Church Outreach Assessment.  Lots of interesting insights that indicate there's somethings the local church needs to consider, but also not to see it as a difficulty but a huge opportunity for the Kingdom to advance in a post-COVID world.  
While there was lots of good thoughts all around...Pastor Tom apologies for a little tech glitch at the start, but we recovered well.

1) lay the groundwork for a scriptural description of the Holy Spirit;
2) encourage a personal encounter with the power of the Holy Spirit in a person's daily personal walk with Jesus Christ.
