We all play a part in the incredible story of CHRISTmas! During this season of Advent we are going to look to the cast of characters God gathered together, touched, and transformed through the first Christmas.
The anticipation of the prophets, the joyful proclamation of the angels, the journey of the shepherds and wise men to honor Jesus, and how all of this fits in with how we prepare and celebrate for Christmas now.
On this CHRISTmas Eve we will look seeing what role we, today in 2019 play. Merry CHRISTmas!

The anticipation of the prophets, the joyful proclamation of the angels, the journey of the shepherds and wise men to honor Jesus, and how all of this fits in with how we prepare and celebrate for Christmas now.
The Magi or wiseman journeyed to Bethlehem to bring their worship and adoration. They got it right, Herod and the religious leaders of the day, missed it. We celebrated with a number of choral pieces to help focus our worship...and then pondered a few thoughts about what the Magi did...a model for us today.

Much like the early church we read about in the Bible, we believe whole-life generosity is the way God designed His church to operate.
n this series we're going to look at generosity as a way of life.
In week 1, we're going to consider the question: What if we were generous just for the fun of it?
The big truth this week is this: Generosity is not about what I have it's about how I think.

God works miracles through those who obey, though often times our nature rebels against Him.
Regardless of which path we choose-obedience or rebellion- God is the God of second chances.
Few stories illustrate this principle more clearly than the story of Jonah.
In this 3rd installment, Jonah gets a second chance and takes God's message to the Ninevhites and amazing things happen. But we see that sometimes the problem of being faithful finds its cause in our own stubbornness to trust God.
