It was a night that no one would forget.
The night the Jesus Christ was
born. Join us as we journey through this Advent season and hear the
first hand reflections of those who experienced that night, some two
thousand years ago.
In Week 3, a WIseman (Don Dewald) shares as he recounts his journey as one of the magi from the east and the surprise at the end of it all.The wisemen were wise because of their willingness to listen. As we continue in our journey to Christmas we are reminded that we need to spend more time listening to each other and to God...to give the most precious of gifts: our time and attendtion. encouragement that God does have a plan and that His plan is good...even when we aren't quite sure...because...we are never alone...Jesus became flesh to prove that.

Jesus is not talking about writing a check or checking a box, but living a life that is completely focused
on giving to others what He has so graciously given to us.
In this series: Living Generously. We are going to seek to understand what it means to live the words of
Jesus.
In this 5th and final part of our series we are reminded about
how God wants us to take risks. In the story of the talents, God only rebukes
the servant that buried his talent. Matthew Henry, said, “Our
present time is seedtime, in the other world we shall reap as we sow now.” The questions we are left with are, “What are
you doing with the resources of time, treasure, and talent that God has given

generously is all about. It this third installment we also have a conversation with Mr. Brady Groves, President of the Richland County Foundation. It was practical, insightful and encouraging dialogue about how "doing good" in our community has been leveraged by their investment. More than $69 million has been given locally to dozens of area charities by the RCF since 1945.
