Pastor Mike Parker, Lead Pastor at First Presbyterian Church in Ashland, OH and Moderator of the Muskingum Valley Presbytery shares the message as part of the commissioning for Pastor Tom Roepke. Pastor Mike's message dives into the words from Paul's letter to the Ephesians, specifically 4:1-16. Pastor Mike marks a new chapter in the history of Linden Road Presbyterian Church as its newest pastor is formally installed as a commissioned ruling elder.

Jesus was amazingly clear when ask what was the greatest commandment...Love the Lord your God with all you heart, soul and mind...and Jesus was quick to add there is a second part equally as important...love your neighbor as yourself. This week we will unpack this statement to an even easier concept: Love God and Love Others. Its a logical statement building on last weeks belief that "every child is created in the image of God." We will talk about how these understandings radically change how minister to families and their children.We also shared the story of an amazing 9 year old, Ezra Frech, and how he has grown through the difficulties life has place before him.

We know that almost all churches say that kids matter....but the big question is do we live that out from 0-18? Join us at this week we're look at the phases that our kids’ walk through and see how and when we can create
opportunities to make a difference in their future its a game changer for everyone. .Drawing on recent thoughts from the Think Orange Movement and authors Reggie Joiner and Kristen Ivey we'll look at how one simple understanding: seeing every kid as created in the image of God can change everything. We also will hear from one of our Kingdom Allies, Ben "Smokey" Radley, Camp Director at Pleasant Hill Outdoor Camp.

A message that challenges the church by taking a look at Jesus'
words to the Disciples in Matthew 28:16-20 and how it applies to us all
individually. First as a commission to go out... and second as a co:mission on how we can live these words out inside the church
family as we send out our graduate. This week, Abbi Coy, a senior at Hillsdale High School shares a few things that she's learned and been impacted by here at her spiritual home.

him. We are called, by God to be ministers of Jesus. If we live in an intentional way of serving and blessing others...we will do just that.

In this fourth week we look at the third calling of our lives: to Become. Its like a Marathon to Growing up, because the Bible compares becoming to running a
race. Looking at chapter 12 of the book of Hebrews we'll look at eight principles that
will help us to run this race well and become the person that God made
us to be.We looked at the story of 89 year old Bryan who recently ran a touchdown as an example of staying in the game of life...even risking doing something new.
